eSignature
Send contracts for signature. Right from the client.
Upload a PDF to a client's Documents tab, place the signature fields, and send. Clients sign in the browser with no account, and the signed copy lands back on their record automatically. No separate e-sign subscription, and no copying client details between tools.
Included in Pro · 5 signature requests per seat each month
Contracts signed where the client relationship lives.
Upload a PDF, place the fields, send. The signed copy files itself.
Send contracts, SOWs, proposals, and NDAs for legally binding electronic signature, straight from a client's Documents tab. Clients sign in the browser on any device, with no account needed, and the signed PDF lands back on their record automatically. No separate e-sign subscription, and no re-typing client details into another tool. Included on Pro.
- Send any PDF from a client's Documents tab: contracts, SOWs, proposals, NDAs
- Choose which of the client's contacts sign, and add a teammate to countersign
- Drag-and-drop editor for signature, initials, date, text, checkbox, and dropdown fields
- Clients sign in the browser from any device, no account needed
- Portal clients also see documents waiting in a Signatures section
- Automatic email reminders on day 3 and day 7, or nudge a signer yourself
- Every signer's status (waiting, signed, declined) with timestamps
- 5 signature requests per seat each month, pooled across your workspace
When the last person signs, the signed PDF and its signature certificate replace the original in the client's Documents tab, and a copy is emailed to everyone involved.
Each signer gets a branded email with a personal, secure link. They see who sent it and where every signer stands, then sign in the browser.
Sends, signatures, reminders, declines, and completion all land in the client's Activity timeline, and you're notified in the app as people sign.
5 signature requests per seat each month, shared across the workspace, so a 4-seat team gets 20.
How it works
From PDF to signed and filed, without leaving the client's record.
-
Upload the PDF
Drop a contract, SOW, proposal, or NDA into the client's Documents tab, where the rest of their paperwork already lives.
-
Request signatures
Choose which of the client's contacts sign, add a teammate to countersign if you need one, and include an optional message.
-
Place the fields
Drag signature, initials, date, and other fields onto the page for each signer in the built-in editor, then send.
-
Clients sign in the browser
Each signer gets a branded email with a personal, secure link. No account and no download, on any device. Portal clients also see it under Signatures.
-
Reminders run themselves
Anyone who hasn't signed is reminded 3 and 7 days after you send, and you can nudge them yourself any time. Unsigned requests expire after 30 days.
-
The signed copy files itself
When the last person signs, the signed PDF and its signature certificate are saved to the client's Documents tab and emailed to everyone involved.
Why sign where the client lives
A standalone e-sign tool knows about the document. FeatureFlight knows about the client, the project, and the invoice that come after it.
No second subscription.
Signing is part of Pro. There's no separate e-sign tool to pay for per seat, and no per-document fees within your monthly allowance.
No copying client details.
Signers are the contacts already on the client's record. Nothing to re-type into another tool, nothing to keep in sync.
The paper trail stays with the client.
The signed copy, its certificate, and every send, signature, reminder, and decline live on the client's record and Activity timeline.
The whole engagement in one place.
Proposal, signed agreement, project, tracked time, invoice. From the first signature to the final payment, it's one workspace.
With a separate e-sign tool
- • Export the contract and upload it somewhere else
- • Re-type the client's name and email
- • Chase signatures from another inbox
- • Download the signed copy and file it by hand
- • One more per-seat subscription
With FeatureFlight
- • Send from the client's Documents tab
- • Pick signers from the client's contacts
- • Automatic reminders on day 3 and day 7
- • Signed PDF filed back on the client
- • Included in Pro

FAQ
eSignature questions
Do my clients need an account to sign?
No. Each signer gets an email with a personal, secure link and signs in the browser on any device. Clients who already use your client portal will also see documents waiting for them in its Signatures section.
Are the signatures legally binding?
Yes. FeatureFlight collects legally binding electronic signatures, and every completed document includes a signature certificate recording who signed and when. If you have questions about a specific type of document or where it will be enforced, check with your lawyer.
What file types are supported?
PDFs. Upload the PDF to the client's Documents tab and send it from there. If your contract starts as a Word file or a Google Doc, export it to PDF first.
How many documents can I send?
Pro includes 5 signature requests per seat each month, pooled across your whole workspace, so a 4-seat team has 20 to share. The allowance resets each month, and there's no extra charge per document within it.
What happens after everyone signs?
The final signed PDF, including a signature certificate page, is saved to the client's Documents tab automatically. It replaces the original in the list, and the original stays reachable. A copy is emailed to everyone involved, and the completion is logged on the client's Activity timeline.
Can a teammate countersign?
Yes. Add a teammate as a countersigner when you request signatures, and they sign inside FeatureFlight. You can follow every signer's status (waiting, signed, or declined) with timestamps, and you're notified in the app as people sign.
What if a client doesn't sign?
Anyone who hasn't signed gets an automatic email reminder 3 and 7 days after you send, and you can send a reminder yourself at any time. Requests expire after 30 days if they aren't completed.
